30x30 Day 4 Ive got the World in the Palm of My Hands

First of all I want to thank my friend Karen for taking these shots of me, they have been the best and funniest shoot I’ve done so far for 30x30. She knows when to tell me to suck it in and stick it out. I know she is watching my blog and my 30x30 outfits for fun accessorizing ideas.

I tried to talk her in to doing her own 30x30 but she said she can’t accessorize well and there wouldn’t be much change about her mostly black wardrobe. I wonder what she wears to funerals? Red?

The following pictures were taken in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. This park is famous for it participation in the 1939/1940 World’s Fair.  It is also the location for the tennis US Open which is played in Arthur Ashe Stadium. It was also mentioned in the Great Gatsby as the “Valley of Ashes.” Citi Field where the NY Mets play is also connected to the park at one end. I also used this park in my Day 3 photo shoot.

Both of these shots were normal and unedited, the basic digital camera changed the colors making them look different.

May I suggest that you should always take a second camera with you because you never know when you’ll have a dead battery. I unfortunately had a dead battery but thank God I had my regular camera that I always carry in my purse.

Karen was saying my outfit was totally 80’s with the blue leggings and legwarmers. I say…Whatever ♥
